I just wanted to take a moment and thank Rachel Turner for giving me my very 1st experience of a random act of kindness from a complete stranger.
I am currently working on lots of things at the moment getting the website and branding done. Things like About Page, Blogs and lots of writing. I love writing but grammar is not my strongest point (as you can probably tell).
I hired an editor/proofreader to work on things I had already written, to check and make sure the grammar and spelling where ok.
I have never experienced a random act of kindness before. However, once Rachel had read my work she loved the concept of 5 Acts a Day, she told me she would do the work for free as a act of kindness to me.
This was amazing because it fuelled my passion to carry on this project and believe in this power, if everyone felt as happy as I felt receiving then my mission would be a success.
Never Underestimate the power of a kind act
I wasn't expecting it and I was blow away. At first I thought no, I want to pay you, it's not fair for you to work for free. Then, I realised that maybe I need to learn how to accept kindness when it's been offered to me. Receiving an unexpected act of kindness felt amazing!
Just thought I would share!
I also want to share her details with you guys, just incase you needed a super editor/proofreader, she is super awesome at her work.
